You don’t notice it until you do — that’s the thing about architectural hardware. And once the hardware of a project is on your radar, it’s nearly impossible to ignore. Whether the door handles match between one room and the next, how the towel bars align with one another, and if the finish of the shower curtain rod matches the other fixtures in the room — once you’re paying attention to the hardware package, these items suddenly matter to the success of a project.

There are an infinite number of choices when it comes to architectural hardware and, unfortunately, many of the available options are aesthetically questionable, overly ornate, or just plain ugly. In our opinion, hardware should meet the code of modernism more than anything on a project — it should be everything it needs to be and nothing more. Over the years, we’ve sifted through the bulk of hardware options out there and, while we’re constantly scanning for new products, we’ve assembled a tidy list of specifications. This list of hardware doesn’t just look clean and modern, each one is also cost effective, reliable and timeless.

Towel bars & hooks
CR Laurence WTB12SC 12” hand towel bar in satin chrome (typically located above vanities)
CR Laurence WTB18SC 18” towel/hand towel bar in satin chrome
CR Laurence WTB24SC 24” towel bar in satin chrome

We like to locate the towel bars at 3’-4” above finished floor, this positions them in a convenient location and establishes a visual alignment with other hardware items such as shower faucets and door handles.

When wall space is limited, we’ll stack the towel bars to maximize hanging space on a shorter wall.
