You guys made my day by posting "The Third & The Seventh". I love the Gattaca references. Great movie, great architecture, great cinema- all go together nicely.

I think architecture school...especially 5th year thesis, should remain as difficult as it is. It is meant to weed out all of the people who aren't dedicated to the industry. Otherwise everyone and their brother would be an architect!

I think this Iwan Baan character is all hype, there's plenty of architects shooting in a style that brings a more dynamic nature to the image by incorporating human life into the shot.

The archiCulture video shows just how ridiculous architecture school is. I can't believe students of architects willingly allow a curriculum like that to guide them. Seems foolish.

I believe it's all computer generated, there's a very good making of video available. Although he must have introduced elements of film - like the birds flying and the man standing in Calatrava's Brise Soleil.
